Tony came to us on October 27, 2022 from the Manteca Animal Shelter where he was euthanasia listed for having cherry eyes. A foster stepped up and we were able to save him, and man what a gem he was! We can’t believe someone gave up on him.

Tony is your typical English bulldog, he’s always been a head first, affection loving, playful guy! He got along instantly with the other dogs in his foster home and did amazing with their young children. While in foster care, Tony showed his only child syndrome… he loved to take toys the other dogs had, but he didn’t resource guard and he was never aggressive about it. He’d just watch them, sneak up on them, take them gently, and run away!!! Though he couldn’t run far, because he had an elongated palette and got tired and out of breath fast…

When Tony went in to get his double cherry eyes corrected, the vet also fixed his HUGE tail pocket, shortened his palette which was much needed, enlarged his nasal passages, and neutered him. He entered in a bulldog that could barely breath and exited a brand new boy! The change in him was so obvious, he was so comfortable in his body and got to be the playful guy he always struggled to.

Tony found his forever home with two young children and amazing paw-rents that made sure they ready to give Tony the best care they could.

Happy Tails!
